Over the past several weeks, we’ve made substantial changes to the BOARD International website to keep you fully informed on all aspects of the BOARD Platform and its many varied uses. This is particularly timely with the recent addition of BOARD 10, which expands the platform with self-service discovery, data preparation and mashups on one end, and Cloud hosting on the other. Another important addition to BOARD.com is what you’re reading now: The BOARD International blog.
With this blog, we want to spark a dialogue with our customers, partners and followers around the world. As new blogs appear frequently, we’ll address topics that impact analytics markets at all levels, putting forth insightful findings plus our opinions, and seeking your thoughts in response. I hope you find these blogs helpful, thought-provoking and enjoyable to read. But most of all, I hope they prompt you to send us your thoughts and recommendations via the “Comments” button.
Poet and author John Milton wrote, “Where there is much desire to learn, there of necessity will be much arguing, much writing, many opinions; for opinions in good men (and women) is but knowledge in the making.” A blog is simply another channel of communication, but it becomes exponentially more valuable when that communication becomes an open and ongoing dialogue.
